Two men lead a motivational assembly at their old high school, but can they agree on how to motivate?
The Night of Phases was developed on my weblog, Venal Scene.
Plot Summary
Lane and Mark, friends since high school, return to their alma mater to lead a motivational assembly. Treating the audience as the student body, they tell of a day from their childhood. Lane is ashamed of the story, and relates it in order to teach "good decision-making skills." Mark, on the other, has fond memories of that day, and uses it to entertain the crowd. Can they agree about the past, or will their differing perspectives end their friendship?
