The Physic of Fitcher's Bird

A one-act experimental comedy for three men and three women
Single unit set
running time: 45 min

Plot Summary

"Fitcher's Bird" is a Grimm's fairy tale similar to "Bluebeard," concerning a tale of kidnapping, murder and immolation.  Two Experimenters, a Lady and a Gentlemen, analyze this story using the scientific method.  They have hired two Doctors and two TV Actors to help them with their experiment.

Together, the six create a well-oiled dramatic machine to perform the experiment with.  But all machines break down, especially when fueled with the absurdities in fairy tales and human beings.
