The Honest-to-God True Story
of the Atheist

An unfair vaudeville
for two men and one woman
Full Length One Act -- No setting
Running time:
50 minutes

The wondrous true tale of the the miracles witnessed by an atheist (may not actually be true).

Plot Summary

A trio of performers tells the audience an amazing tale: a local atheist recently attempted to prove that God does not exist by stealing a baby Jesus from a nativity scene, unleashing a series of miracles that prove the existence of the Christian God he denies. But did any of this really happen? And do the performers even believe the story they're enacting?

The show plays three-card monte with the audience. One card holds the truth (honest!), but can the audience find it in a game rigged with entertaining distractions of songs, soft-shoes and comedy? Featuring Mole people, black market Viagra salesmen, speaking in tongues, tasteless caricatures and more twists than a roller coaster, it's the dark comedy that questions everything, including itself.
